Job Summary
- The HR/Admin Trainee will be responsible for providing support to the Human Resources and Administration departments in various tasks and projects.

Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Learn to conduct initial candidate screenings and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system.
Onboarding and Orientation:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and training coordination.
- Assist with orientation sessions and the completion of necessary paperwork.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Learn to maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Organizing HR and administrative documents, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Employee Relations:
- Drafting of memo related to HR and administrative matters Assist in addressing basic employee inquiries and concerns.
Training and Development:
- Participate in training programs to enhance HR and administrative knowledge.
- Coordination of employee training sessions and workshops.
- Coordinate logistics of training sessions and workshops.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the HR and Administration departments.
- Managing office supplies, scheduling meetings, and handling routine tasks.
- Support the facility manager in management of fixed assets.
Health, Safety and Environment:
- Organize and maintain safety symbols.
- Manage the company’s first-aid box to ensure first-aid materials are always available.
- Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations.
- Inspecting production equipment and processes to make sure they are safe.
- Ordering repairs for unsafe or damaged equipment
Carrying out other tasks assigned by the HR Lead.
Preferred Qualifications:

- First Degree in any Social / Management Science discipline or any other related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- 0-1-year relevant experience in Human Resources Management.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- The applicant must be a resident of Port Harcourt and ready to resume immediately
- Preferably seeking a female candidate due to gender team balance.
