Responsibilities:
Design: Develop detailed mechanical and electrical designs for building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, building codes, and client requirements.
Supervision: Oversee the installation of M&E systems on construction sites, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Coordination: Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate M&E systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any design or installation issues that arise during the project, providing practical and effective solutions.
Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress of M&E installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Compliance: Ensure that all M&E systems comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as client specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.A minimum of 5 years of experience in M&E design and supervision within the building and construction industry.Proficiency in M&E design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux).
Strong knowledge of building services engineering, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and fire protection.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
